Our story and vision
Humble in the Spotlight Inc. was founded by Kim Dalglish Abell in 2021 with the purpose of helping families access homes they might not be able to afford to buy but would have the means to rent. It's called Humble in the Spotlight because it's a spotlight on small town Ontario. All our homes are located across small towns in Ontario from Erin to Orillia to Lakefield. At this time all our homes are tenanted.
Having grown up in Toronto and dedicated years to education, I've always believed in fostering growth and well-being. Today, I channel that passion by working with tradesmen who are exceptional in their fields. We support roofers and carpenters and electricians and plumbers who help keep our homes in exceptional condition and who create spaces where dreams can flourish.
